In Care Ministries, our goal is to help you identify and take your next step towards wholeness and fullness of life. We help by responding to immediate needs, providing resources for you to heal from the pain of life’s circumstances, and assist you to grow into stable and passionate disciples of Christ.

SPIRITUAL/EMOTIONAL CARE
COUNSELLING
We do not have a licenced counsellor on our staff; however, if you’d like to talk with one of our pastors, we can refer you to trusted professionals that we work with.
HOSPITAL VISITATION
If you or someone you love is in the hospital and would like one of our pastors to visit, let us know. We’d love to come to visit and pray with you.
FUNERALS
We can help arrange the funeral/memorial service for the death of a loved one.
GRIEF SHARE
Grief Shares offers help and encouragement after the death of a loved one. This program features biblical concepts for healing from your grief- specifically after the death of a spouse, child, family member or friend.
DIVORCE CARE
Divorce Care provides ongoing support and encouragement for those struggling with the pain of separation and divorce. The facilitators and group atmosphere help you feel less alone in what you are feeling and thinking and provide hope for what is to come.
KIDS & FRIENDS
Kids and Friends coincides with Divorce Care and helps kids heal from the hurt of their parents’ separation or divorce, death of a loved one, abandonment and other trauma.
PHYSICAL NEEDS
Helping Hands
Helping Hands is a ministry that assists those who are in a current crisis with guidance, food and clothing. All requests are handled individually and confidentially. Please contact the main office for more information.
Food Bank
We are a depot for the Edmonton Food Bank, providing food and essentials to families in need. Donations of non-perishable food items may be dropped off at the church office.
CARE CLOSET
Provides clothing and small household items in good to excellent condition to those in need. Call the church office to book a shopping appointment. No walk-ins at this time. For donation drop-off, please call 780-462-1515 or email info@hopecity.ca.
