Terwillegar Campus Pastor

Paul Drader

Paul joined the Hope City team as the Terwillegar Campus Pastor in January 2021. Along with his wife, Meghan and their two kids, they are excited to be a part of what God wants to do in South West Edmonton. When Paul heard about the role of Campus Pastor, he knew right away that’s what God was calling him to do next. His previous experience as a Youth Pastor and Executive Pastor will serve him well in this role. He is passionate about seeing people’s lives transformed when they experience God’s love, and is eager to see it happen regularly at the Terwillegar Campus.

Kids & Students

We provide a safe, clean, and fun experience for children. At the Terwillegar Campus, we have age-appropriate environments for nursery, preschool, elementary, Jr. High and Sr. High students. Nursery, preschool and elementary programs run every week. Our Jr. High class happens every other week. Once a month, we run a program for students in grades 10-12 called ‘High School Bible School.’

If it’s your first visit, arrive 10-15 minutes early to register your children for their program.

If you have any questions, reach out here, we’d love to help!

What to Expect

Where do I go for my first visit?

For adults, no registration is required. You can head right into the service. However, if you have kids and would like to place them in their age-appropriate program environment, we suggest arriving 10-15 minutes early to register your children. If you have any questions about children’s programming, let us know here.

What should I wear?

We are more concerned with what’s going on with your heart than what you are wearing. Wear what makes you feel comfortable!

Will I be asked to give money?

We don’t want you to feel pressured to give. We want you to enjoy the environment and worship experience. If you call our church your home, we encourage you to give financially to God and His church as an act of worship.

What are the services like?

Our services are 60 minutes long. You are welcome to come as an observer without fear of being singled out. Our aim is to communicate truth from the Bible in a relevant and helpful manner. We keep in mind the person who has little or no knowledge of the Bible as well as the ‘seasoned Christian’ as we plan our services.

The Terwillegar Campus has live worship and teaching that is live-streamed from our Mill Woods campus.

TERWILLEGAR BUILDING PROJECT

The goal of transitioning from a portable campus to our own permanent home is becoming a reality!

Since launching the Terwillegar Campus in 2018 we have met in Lillian Osborne High School.

In mid-2021 we purchased our own building, along with 4 acres of land at 1428-156th Edmonton, AB.

Building renovations will be completed this summer (2023).

We are looking forward to our Grand Opening in September.
