Mill Woods

Lead Pastor

Phil Kniesel

Pastor Phil and his wife Marla moved to Edmonton in 2006 and quickly fell in love with this great city. He is passionate about making faith relevant to today’s culture and loves seeing individuals discover and live out their God-given potential. He believes in creating a church greater Edmonton wants to attend and truly believes church is a place where all people are welcome. Pastor Phil and Marla have two daughters who also enjoy calling this their home church.

Kids & Students

Each campus provides a safeclean, and fun experience for children. At the Mill Woods Campus, we have age-appropriate environments for nursery, preschool, elementary, pre-teen, and Jr. High students.

Every other week, we run a program for students in grades 10-12 called ‘High School Bible School.’

If it’s your first visit, arrive 10-15 minutes early to register your children for their program.

If you have any questions, reach out here, we’d love to help!

What to Expect

Where do I go for my first visit?

For adults, no registration is required. You can head right into the service. However, if you have kids and would like to place them in their age-appropriate program environment, head to our ‘guest lounge’ beside the café to register your children (you only have to do this once). We suggest arriving 10-15 minutes early to do this on your first visit. If you have any questions about children’s programming, let us know here.

What should I wear?

We are more concerned with what’s going on with your heart than what you are wearing. Wear what makes you feel comfortable!

Will I be asked to give money?

We don’t want you to feel pressured to give. We want you to enjoy the environment and worship experience. If you call our church your home, we encourage you to give financially to God and His church as an act of worship.

What are the services like?

Our services are 60 minutes long. You are welcome to come as an observer without fear of being singled out. Our aim is to communicate truth from the Bible in a relevant and helpful manner. We keep in mind the person who has little or no knowledge of the Bible as well as the ‘seasoned Christian’ as we plan our services.
