Vision 2025

Over the past year, we’ve seen God do what only He can do. From lives changed to families restored, from campuses growing to cities being served, God's hand has been unmistakable. What once felt impossible has become our reality, and all we can say is "thank you, Jesus!"

As we step into 2025, our hearts are full of gratitude and faith. The same God who’s moved in unprecedented ways will keep leading us forward. We believe the best is still ahead, and we can’t wait to see how He’ll continue to move in our church, our city, and beyond.

This past year, we witnessed God move in incredible ways. Over 6,000 people gathered weekly across our campuses each weekend, more than 200 people were baptized, and over $1 million was given to impact our city and world. From Serve Day to stories of transformation, from local outreach to global missions, God has shown Himself faithful again and again. Take a moment to look back and celebrate all that He’s done and let your faith rise for what’s still to come.

A Message from Pastor Phil

This past year has been nothing short of remarkable. We’ve watched God do what only He can do — change lives, draw people to Himself, and build His Church in ways that leave us in awe. From every baptism to every story of transformation, from every act of generosity to every person finding hope again,  it’s all evidence of His goodness and grace at work among us.

I truly believe we are living in unprecedented days. What we’re experiencing at Hope City is not the result of strategy or luck, but of God’s favor and faithfulness. He’s entrusted us with much, and as we look ahead, I’m filled with gratitude for the people who have said “yes” to the call of God and chosen to be part of what He’s doing here.

But we’re not done yet. There’s still more to reach, more to love, and more to believe for. I’m convinced that our best days are still ahead. So let’s keep our hearts full of faith, our hands open in generosity, and our eyes fixed on Jesus. With Him, anything is possible.

Our Board

Guided by Faithful Leadership

Hope City Church is part of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (PAOC), and as such, our governance is built on both spiritual leadership and shared accountability. Our Board serves alongside our pastoral team to provide prayerful oversight, financial stewardship, and strategic guidance as we pursue the vision God has given our church.

Board members are affirmed each year by the membership at our Annual Vision Meeting. Membership plays a vital role in this, with each member having the privilege and responsibility of helping discern who will serve in these important leadership positions.

Together, we celebrate the faithfulness of our outgoing board members, honour our current board, and welcome the new nominees who will help lead us into what’s next.
