Encore (55+) Information Session: Elder Abuse & Resources

Encore (55+) Information Session: Elder Abuse & Resources

Join us for an important and informative presentation focused on understanding elder abuse and learning about the resources available to support older adults in our community. This session will explore what elder abuse is, the different types of abuse that can occur, and how it may appear in everyday situations. We will also discuss how elder abuse can impact individuals and families, and the signs that may indicate someone needs help. Participants will learn about supports and resources available in the community, including organizations and services in Alberta that provide assistance, guidance, and protection for older adults. Our goal is to build awareness, encourage healthy and respectful relationships, and ensure everyone knows where to turn for help when needed.
