Week Of Prayer
As we begin a new year, we’re inviting our church to pause, refocus, and put Jesus first. Our Week of Prayer (January 5-10) is centered on Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:33: “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” When we seek Jesus first, everything else in our lives begins to find its right place.
The First 15 Challenge
Throughout the week, we’re asking everyone at Hope City to commit the first 15 minutes of each day to seeking God. From Monday to Friday, you’ll receive a daily email that includes a short video devotional from one of our pastors, along with guided Scripture reading and prayer points. (Click here to get on our email list).
Each day will be structured simply:
5 minutes – Watch the daily video devotional
5 minutes – Read Scripture
5 minutes – Pray using the daily prayer points
Why the first 15 minutes? While prayer can happen anytime, Scripture shows us a powerful rhythm of beginning the day with God. What we do first shapes everything that follows. As we start a new year, we want to build a habit of seeking Him first.
Engage Prayer and Worship
To conclude the Week of Prayer, we’re gathering as a church family for Engage Prayer and Worship on Saturday, January 10 at 6 PM at our Mill Woods Campus. This will be a powerful night of prayer, worship, and seeking God together.
We’d love for you to join us as we start the year focused on what matters most.
