The attributes of God’s Justice and Mercy are often seen together in scripture, which is strange because those seem like they should be directly opposed to one another.

How can God be Just and Merciful? Does that mean he is 50% just and 50% merciful? Then depending on the situation, or the mood He’s in, we either get Justice or Mercy?
