Our Terwillegar campus is located in south Edmonton. We meet in the MacLab Theatre at Lillian Osborne High School (2019 Leger Rd NW). The Lab Kids provides programming for nursery, preschool, and elementary children.
WHAT TO EXPECT
ENTERING THE BUILDING
When you enter the building, you and your child(ren) will be asked to sanitize your hands and wear a mask. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided. We have adult and child size disposable masks available. Children aged 2 and under are not required to wear a mask.
CHECK-IN STATIONS & SCREENING PROCESS
The check-in stations are set up for self-check-in. You need to enter your phone number or family name on the iPad or computers to complete the check-in process. Stations are located in the main hallway, just off of the lobby area. You will receive a name label for your child and a label for parents. You will need the parent label to pick up your child below the age of 5.
The attendant at the check-in station will ask you about COVID symptoms or exposure. They may check your child’s temperature as well. You will be asked to sanitize your child(ren)’s hands again before proceeding to the drop-off areas. Leaders carry hand sanitizer in their lab coats to enable frequent sanitization for themselves and the children. There is additional hand sanitizing stations and masks available in multiple areas of the building.
There will be CM Team Members ready (identified by white lab coats and ID badges) to welcome your child(ren) and bring them to their program.
TODDLERS & PRESCHOOL EXPERIENCE
Our 2-5-year-olds enjoy a safe, loving environment where they get to discover about Jesus through Bible stories, music, crafts, activities, and playtime.
Our children in Grades 1-5 get to experience an hour of exciting games, lesson activities, science experiments, worship, small group discussions, and Bible stories. It is designed for them to make great friends, have fun and grow in their faith.
Parents can pick up their children outside their classrooms. For children ages 2-5, parents will need to provide the name label that they received during check-in. For children in Grade 1-5, a Children’s Ministries team member will let your child(ren) know that you have arrived to pick them up.
