MAKE A DIFFERENCE

GIVE

Great things happen in and through our church and you can be a part of them through your financial contributions. Our primary source of financial support (over 90%) is individual donations. We call these tithes and offerings. As a Canadian Registered Charity (# 893659920RR0001), we are able to issue charitable tax receipts for all eligible donations. We recently changed our name to “Hope City Church”; however our legal name is still “Millwoods Pentecostal Assembly”. Your donation receipt will reflect our legal name.

GIVING FAQ’S

WHAT IS PUSHPAY?
PushPay is an online giving platform that specializes in helping church members give tithes and donations quickly and securely.
DO I HAVE TO CREATE A PUSHPAY ACCOUNT?

Yes. When you use PushPay, you will need a credit card and a mobile phone number to set up an account. If you want to give a gift without creating an account, you can click here.

Why do I need a mobile number? What if I don't have one?
Mobile sign-in streamlines your giving by allowing you to sign in with a security code. When you set up your account or give a gift, we will text the security code to your mobile phone. You no longer need to remember a password! The security code replaces the need to remember one, which makes giving more secure and easier.
If you don’t have a mobile number, you can give through this link.
How can I set up recurring/automated giving?
Simple! Signing up for a PushPay account allows you to set up a recurring gift via your credit card. If you’d like to set up recurring giving through pre-authorized debit, click here.
How do I access my giving records?
We keep records of every financial gift given in our secure CCB database. You can view your giving history by following the steps below:
  • Click here and sign in. If you don’t know your login information, you can reset it by clicking here. If you’re still having trouble, send us an email at info@hopecity.ca, and we’ll help you out.
  • Once logged in, click ‘my giving’ on the left-hand side (see here).
  • Click on “Schedules/History” (see here).
  • On this screen, you’ll be able to see all of your individual and family giving records.
Why do my giving records on PushPay differ from CCB?
PushPay is our platform for online donations. E-transfer, cash/cheque, lobby debit/credit giving and any online giving platform through our old platform are not reflected in your PushPay account. For your complete up-to-date giving history, sign in to your CCB account.
When will I receive an official donation receipt?
We will an official donation receipt for all donations through any giving channel in February. And, at any time, you can track and see your giving history. See “how do I access my giving records.”
